Default d4s vs d2s

i'm real close to buying this dudes ballast, just need someone to confirm something for me. i have tsx projectors (d2s) and this guy is selling me his d4s ballast. he told me that d2s will work fine with them. is this true?

in terms of fitment yes they are same...

but will they work no....you need to match D2S bulbs with D2S ballast

you'll need D2S ballast to work with your D2S bulbs...I have some ballast that came from a BMW 3 series if you're interested. Just PM me

Umm on HIDPlanet several members have shown running D4s's on hella gen 3 ballasts....

you can buy d2r sockets on ebay for $30-$40. i used a set on some pnp hella ballasts with oem acura d2r bulbs. worked great.
