Can I use my d16z6 nonvtec distributor on mi mini me swap?
I'm doing a mini me swap and I was wondering if i can use the d16z6(i think it is but im shure is 1.6) nonvtec distributor?

I'm 99.9% sure you can as long as it's going into the Z6 head, but you might wanna get a confirmation on that.

In terms of OBD-I any USDM VTEC was a 1.6, the B7's and B8's were all 1.5's - even the Z1 - but that wasn't VTEC, that's VTEC-E (and in my mind totally different).
If you have a USDM 5th gen 1.6, it's a Z6.
If you have a USDM 5th gen 1.6, it's a Z6.

if your D-series is non v-tec, then its a usdm 1.5, or a jdm 1.6 zc non v-tec..
if its a motor with v-tec it will be a usdm d16z6. or a jdm d15b. or a zc with v-tec.
sounds to me like youy engine is a d15b7 non -vtec, and it will not work on the v-tec head. the bolts wont line up
