heres a shot of the apexi n1 on my 04. in my opinion, its one of the nicest sounding exhausts... however, mine sounds different compared to other n1's for some reason... its a full catback with an aem short ram and hp racing headers...

ill try to record a clip tomarro or something

if you keep your resonator in most exhausts (at least the decent quality ones) will be fairly quiet. im planning on going back to a setup like that. being loud gets old after a while

look into a custom made exhaust. depending on how i feel, i want to run a vibrant resonator (or two) and a vibrant muffler on 2.5'in piping. it looks like a larger version of a 6thgen civic stock exhaust. sounds pretty nice too from sound clips.

I have a Vibrant TPV axle back, it sounds GREAT.

There is absolutely NO ricey sound to it, it's a nice subtle grumble.

Dad has a Dc Sports Twin Canister on his civic and by far the best sounding exhaust money can buy for a civic in my book. Very quiet at idle but a decent rumble when you put the pedal to the floor. I give the exhaust a 10/10

I've had so many exhaust over the years and I love them all. Had the DC, HKS, Spoon, Apexi, Greddy, RSR, Magnaflow, and RSX, but here is my opinion.

If you want loud, go with a custom spoon like me.

If you get tired of that and want stock but a little more umph and some looks, go with custom RSX-s, like the one I have now.

i have rsr ex-mag, sounds good, quiet. oem look to it, and isn't loud at all.

i used to have DC sports tcs with a header, it was too loud...

i like how the greddy evo sounds, i've heard it on both, NA and FI'd 7thgens.

i'd also recommend the rsx-s muffler modified to fit our cars, and also the spoon-n1 sounds nice.

some exhausts will get louder as they get older and they start to wear out. i know that my old Ravin got much louder as the inside deteriorated.
