The Junk2 and Blox IMs will give you better power up top, with a bit of a sacrifice on the bottom end. Both were noticeable, even without the dyno.

I’m going with the Performer X IM and a PP 65mm TB; hopefully, it’ll be installed the 1st week of December, I’ll be sure to let you all know the results.

I have Blox port matched to a 68mm TB and to the head. I recommend the head port match to anyone because it is not an OE piece, a little imprefection from the casting.

Not installed yet though.

Hi guys,

I used to have a turbocharged B16A2 in my car but that engine is dead now.

I decided to quit the Forced Induction world.

I've put a bone stock 2001 B18B in my car. I'm planing to keep the car and engine as stock as possible as far as look and sound are concern.

The police is really cracking down on anything that looks or sound remotely modified.

So like I said. Right now all I have is a stock B18B. I also installed a complete OEM USDM ITR exhaust system. (Header, Cat., center pipe, muffler).

I was thinking about adding some cams and a tune in the summer to gain a bit more power.

What kind of numbers can I expect if I keep the stock ITR header, cat. and exhaust?

Doubt cams will really be worth it. Anything small enough to keep the stock idle sound won't do much for you.

i heard you can use valve springs from a certain truck engine which will fit and are stiffer than the stock LS b18b valve springs. Anyone have any info on this?

I don't really care about idle sound. I care about how loud the car sounds when you drive it.

you said you want it to look and sound as stock as possible. so that makes us assume you want it to sound stock at idle too.

I know that I have not been around for a very long time, so consider me back from the dead. I saw this thread and figured I would add some input from the past. I have no new dyno charts with me as I am overseas right now. I have not progressed much more for the engine setup that you will read about. Most of my money goes to pay for school, and what is left over goes into my house. As far as my setup, it works very well for me so I have left it pretty well alone for the exception of some minor tweaks. I am much more focused on the suspension at the moment. For what it is worth, there are many great NA LS setups archived here on HT. If I happen to run back across them, I shall post up the links.

For those back in the states, drink one for me. I have some catching up to do when I get back.

It must be a typo. Sorry. My setup uses P30 pistons.

94 teg running extremely well with 180 across the board cant remember leak down numbers but it was good.Anyway i want some good useable power without getting to crazy.I understand a b16 tranny would make me happy but the motor needs a bit more umph id say.I was seriously going to turbo my car but i think im going to forget about that
