Default codes

I have a 99 civic..y7 block..y8 head vtec with stage 1 cam..its throwing codes
p0505 idle air control system
p0325 knock sensor 1 circuit bank 1 or single sensor
p0171 system to lean bank 1

any ideas on how to solve these?

and also 1 more thing haha..My car will pop outa second if going under 20 but if accelerating over 20 with foot on gas it stays in..is my tranny going or wut?

Can you be a little more specific? Did you do anything to the car? Did this **** just happen one day when u turned it on, or was this right after you put the Y8 head on?

I didn't know the Y8 had a knock sensor but that'll explain the knock sensor (there is no knock on the Y7, i don't think)...as for the IACV, the Y8 uses a different IACV setup than the Y7 - did you use an automatic Y8 manifold or did you use a manual Y8 manifold? Or did you put the Y7 manifold back on?

As far as the system being too lean, probably an O2 sensor, not positive on this one either, but I do think the Y7 and Y8 use different wire O2's. There's a different part number for a 6th gen EX and an LX's O2 sensor.

PS: Which ECU are you using? A P2P?

is started shortly after.. by manifold do you mean exhaust manifold or intake manifold?.. cause im pretty sure its still the y7 headers..

its the y8 manifold..but still has y7 02 sensor should ii change that..and would headers make a difference?
