Thanks everyone, just finished up sanding the fenders, will be painting them bright and early, then putting the car back together, cleaning the hell out of the interior and then school the next day

How come the door/qt. panel moldings, side skirts, gas door, and tail lights weren't removed prior to paint?...I know that the paint around the moldings can have peeling issues down the road...

And was the car painted in a booth?...if not, why?

Very nice job on the bodywork though

They got taped becuase there just wasn't enough time, I know that might sound silly, but out of nowhere i decided i was going to do this and this was the last week I had or else I would have had to wait till spring. I really wanted to take everything out, ho well. We just painted it in time today, ive been working on it 7am-6pm everyday which has been killer. I wanted to get the expierence now even if it wasn't going to be really MINT. Im 17, in Highschool and its my Daily, so if theirs some imperfections I can deal with it for now. Still going to be alot better than what it was, some people on here can vouch for how bad the body was. It wasn't painted in a real booth, because at my shop there is no such thing as a "real" booth. Haha. Thanks for the complements

Everything is done and put together, I just have to wet sand and buff it out this week. I will be spraying the rest of the door handles, moldings, rocker panels with the trim paint and I gotta put the lip back on, all which I will be doing this week and Ill have better pictures soon, heres some for now.

Came out really good, what kind of background do you have in this field, also what kind of gun did you use.

This was my first time doing this much body work before, only things I have done before is like wet sand, buff, valve covers, little things like that. I just learned all this throughout this experience. I totally forgot the gun that was used because it was someone else from the shop. I did everything but shoot the car, I thought it would be better to learn to paint with a gun on smaller things first.
