90 Integra, Electrical Gremlins.....
Well my friends integra is having some electrical issues
First off, we had a wire hanging up the exhaust temporaraly, and all of a sudden the car wouldnt start ( after starting many times)
after a few minutes of cranking i see smoke comming from near the exhaust, so i bend down and look and tell him to crank it again, and i see the wire we had holding up the exhaust heating up to a orange glow...
Now we think we got that solved because it looked like an o2 sensor wire was touching the exahust
but now, The speedometer needle MELTED off, and theres a burn all around that area, the blinker lights on the dash come on ( the signals dont come on, but it the dash says they are), pretty much all the lights on the dash come on
what could be causing this problem? the car used to have an alarm ( but was UN-professionaly uninstalled) Could somthing have possibly been messed up under there while it was being done>
What should we look for,
