and second why did you cover your engine block and not the alternator?

you got me on that one sush, my biggest concerns were my plugs and filter. seeing as how ive seen engines go cold the minute water hit the plugs, and gurgle / bog when the filter caught some leakage.

not like that man, i mean to keep them covered to they don't get wet. my bay isn't bad . i just spray around the same time i buff the heads to knock off normal debris

I have used Meguiars Plastx or Scratchx with paper towels and had good results in a few minutes. A good detail if low on time.

I used this one 5 min. kit from Clear Vision chemicals. You basically sand it down and then polish it. It worked like a charm. I got it at Advanced Auto Parts for 20 bucks.

You can use some poly for aluminium boat and a buffer it work great
