Default Type R Front Lip

I just got my type r front lip and I have to paint it but as far as putting it on, do you just bolt it right on or do you have to take that little lip thing that comes stock off

i kept the little stock lip thingy on...some take it off though some leave it on...i don't think it makes much of a difference..the lip should fit right on either way...its up to you.

yeah I held it up to my car to see what its going to look like and it looks like im going to have to stretch the lip to get it to fit but if the stock lip needs to go then I will do that

damn... i bought the urethane front lip from ebay. i got it and it fit perfect. i bolted the ends w/ the 4 self-tapping screws supplied. anyway... i went on the freeway and i guess front of the lip sagged downward and the wind just ripped it off. thus, causing me to run over the damn thing. $100 down the drain for me!

1.did you take the stock lip off?

2. I will probably make a few holes of my own all along the bottom of the lip just to make sure

On the OEM Type-R lip it is held on by 6 nuts and bolts on the bottom and two screws on each side.
