Yeah, if the speedo is not working or is gunked up, the odometer will not work.

Mine was the same

got a cluster off of ebay ordered. Are there anymore tips needed to switch out the controls of th speedometer on the back of the cluster?

Make sure you unclip the harnesses on climate control! I almost cracked mine and I bent a few prongs which were a bitch to straighten out.

And make sure before you test it you plug all the harnesses back in, dimmer, hazards, cruise, etc.. I didn't and got scared that it didn't work. I also lost blinkers. I later found out from themuffinman that without the hazard harness, you don't have blinkers, and without dimmer, you have no speedo

Good job. This is exactly what i needed when i was pulling my cluster out to change my gauges. I think muffinman actually made this for me. there are a few short cuts you can take but thats deffinately the correct way

Yep , there's a few things you can leave out, but to fully take apart the dash and ensure you don't break anything it's probably the best route.

I also neglected to mention the hazards/dimmer/cruise stuff.

awd, you may want to edit the original and make a note of it

Thanks for the help guys. I got it changed earlier tonight. I didnt take out the center console. All I did was remove the radio to get to the screws
