F1 wheel looks great in there. I saw one a few months back on ebay for $35... I should have snagged it... sigh...

Incredible work, awesome to see someone putting so much love into a "modest" car, very refreshing in these days of excess everything...(yeah I'm old, one of my 1st cars was a 1st gen Civic, with a few homemade "mods" )

it was fun but not reliable. this engine is 100% oem internals. the header is DTR.

oh yeah I feel you 100 percent, did you build that motor for it or was it bought like that?
oh awesome choice, was that a header you had or can you still order them? I know its called SSR now and its partly owned by Danny or something along those lines?

That is one hell of a project man. This forum is great and getting to see what people have done with their older Honda's (especially yours) has given me a lot of respect for the people who actually work on their cars and take the initiative to do things the right way, plus having a basically brand new 86 Si that will last for a long time to come has its merits when people are driving their mundane cookie cutter cars and wonder what your driving and why it looks new. congrats on saving another piece of Honda history I can't wait till I have the time and skill to undertake a project of this magnitude.

I love the car! The engine bay looks great. I love the look of the OEM air box sitting in there.
