Default crx b16 ecu chip help

i have a 1991 crx si and im puttin in a b16a vtec and i have ran into a big problem i want my vtec to work and i was told you could just put in a chip in the old ecu that was in the crx already and the vtec would run and there wouldnt have to be a change in the ecu's and idk what chip and where to get it at so if anyone has any help plz lemme know

if you bought a b16a swap you should have got the b16a ecu with it, and its set up for vtec you'll just have to modify your harness and hardwire it into the ecu, sounds complicated but its really not that bad, i have a turbo b16A1 crx with a 50 trim and its awesome love the car vtec works fanntasstic

oops didnt see that it was an si, should just be plug and play basically ive never heard of chipping the ecu to run vtec if you have the b16 ecu its already set up for it

u can chip the ecu to drop the vtec engagment points, set rev limits,disable certin sensors,actviate 2 step and reprogram your low and high maps.u can control bigger inj,reprogram the bin to run a differant map,

what would be the easiest way to run the b16a b.c i didnt get a ecu with it so would i just chip it or no

u need a pr3-pw0 to run the b16.

u need the ecu itself.go over on ebay and under search type in pr3 or pwo.

and if u want it chipped let me or crxtoad know!!
