Default Removing TPS sensor

How do you remove the tps sensor from the stock TB to use it on an aftermarket TB ?

If it's riveted in place, you need to drill the rivets out.

Yep, either drill out the bolts without heads, or you can cut a little slot into the bolt and unscrew it with a Phillips head bit.

It's a TPS, not a TPS sensor (throttle position sensor sensor?)

thanks for the necessary post.

OP: use a dremel to cut slots in the rivets, then use a flathead screwdriver to screw them out. Or you can just drill the heads off of them.

and to install it....can u just use a small screw. Anyone know thread pitch and size ? I can figure it out but if someone has it already it would be helpful.

If you slot the screws, then you can reuse them. Otherwise I think it's a regular M5.
