They are very light for a cast rim (around 9.5lbs for a 15x7, 41mm offset), and have a very subtle style. Many auto-x drivers in my area run them with their R-comp tires and have no issues.

Cheap, but not all that strong at all. I've seen my fare share of these destroyed.

Re: Looking for Lightwielght & strong wheels but dont have money for volk???? (Spec R_GSR)
Rota has to adhere to the same manufacturing specs that all of the other wheel companies do in order to sell wheels in japan. how far past those minimum standards they go is a different question.
rota makes nice wheels. the slipstreams are nice wheels, cheap and light.
if you break one, at least it was only ~$150 to replace it, not $500 like a volk/rays/advan/etc.

Agreed. My 16x7 slipstreams have held up to 1 year of autocross (12 or so events), and 3 HPDEs. For how cheap they are, I purchased them willing to just toss one out and replace as needed when/if they cracked, but they're holding up perfectly fine so far. I think I paid $840 for all 4 with RT-615 Azenis in 205/40-16 mounted, and they've been worth every penny.
