Default P185/70R14 what is the number meaning?

I know what is 14inch.

what is the P185 and 70R?

185 = width from outside edge to inside edge
70 = side wall height

P = passenger
185 = 185 millimeters across
70 = sidewall height is 70% of that width
R = radial construction
14 = rim size in inches
