It's all about the fuses folks. As long as you wire them up correctly and they were previously working fine and wired correctly, you just have to worry about replacing fuses after.

for everyone helpin out as well.

for those that have depo style foglights, the clip u clip into the slots near ur fuse box, i think its second one from the left, if u clip it in there itll turn on with the accessory's. if not there 4 slots, trial and error till u get it lol.

.

My fog light fuse (one in the fog light harness) FINALLY blew the other day. After like a month or two or leaving the switch on all the time, it finally burnt up. But otherwise, zero problems.

I'm thinking about buying PIAA H3 Ion Yellow's and seeing how those go next.

Mine have been running for quite a while but they finally blew out. I'm not sure what's wrong, hopefully someone can help.

I followed the exact instructions. I have a 15A for taillight and 10A for dash (or vice versa) which is still plenty for either. When I arm/disarm my alarm the parking lights don't flash. The dash lights and parking lights work perfectly fine when driving. The problem is only when arm/unarming the alarm. I've checked both fuses and they are fine. I would assume it could be an alarm fuse but I don't know where that is. Is there a "common" place alarm systems put there fuses? Any help is appreciated.

I'd take pics but i only have a pos p&s digicam and those pics wouldn't do justice.

the alarms people talking about... are they aftermarket or factory alarms that are blowing the fuse?

Looks good actek23. Mine look just like that too!

I have an aftermarket alarm. I noticed that there is a fuse (40A?) on the foglight harness. I'll check to see if that one has blown. I just haven't had the time and the weather isn't helping either.

thanks man... my car was parked next to yours during the XXX rootbeer meet.

as for the fuse in the foglight harness i believe it should be alot less than that. i believe is should be 15A... but i could be wrong. i jus re-wired the wires yesterday for it to work with my parking lights and i forgot how big the fuse should be.

yea i had a passwordjdm lip but took that off after hitting it with so many speed bumps. changed up the front end with the fogs (took off my aftermarket Raybrig R900 fogs) and a different lip.

ordered a set of wheels that should be coming in next week.

i'm still contemplating on those CTR headlights you have...

They look so good man! And they match the oem fog bezels really well. It's even better for me because they also match my ssr's too.

My thought at first was, I wasn't going to spend expletivein $400 on some headlights. But I wanted them really bad because they look so damn good. It's a very subtle change but it makes a big difference for those that notice them (and even those that don't, they just don't realize it does).

I have an authentic oem set for sale btw for $300. Both headlights have 1 broken tab though. Let me know if you want them.

For those that don't know...
maybe a new relay??

check the grounds...

if its OEM... there is a ground on top of AC ground wire next to the drivers side headlight...

another ground left of the fuse box under the panel by where the switch is for the foglight where the relay is...

But if the ground was bad, the fogs wouldn't come on at all right? Mine work fine but its only when I arm/disarm my alarm they don't work (flash). I guess it has to be a fuse on the alarm system, but I don't know shit about alarms.

well if it works then i wouldnt be worried at all then. i'm not sure why it doesnt flash on and off when you arm/disarm your alarm though.... do the other parking lights go on as well or are those gone too.

All of the parking lights are suppose to come on when arm/disarming the car, including the foglights also, now after doing this mod.

It's not a big deal really because I'm glad everything still works and I'm able to turn the fogs on w/ the parking lights. Its just that, when I use remote start the parking lights are suppose to stay on and I think it looks cool .

Who knows...
