Default 90 Accord Trans Problems

I have a 90 accord auto f22a1..I had stop driving it because I was driving it one day and it just stop shifting and the trans never sliped or nothing or gave me any problems so i was confused..So i just figured on getting a new trans..then i got in it today and it started shifting fine again for about 5min then it went back to not shifting..it has to kinda pick up speed..but doesnt shift...but when i put it in like 1st it will shift from 1st and then i'll push it to sec and then it will shift then..but not from drive..so im lost..and it has transmission fluid but i did notice there was a leak somewhere because i had saw a small puddle..but i dont know it that would make it do all that..

Get it serviced before you replace it. I've had cars where the fluid filter was clogged, preventing the fluid from circulating properly. Cost me $120 to fix. Might be worth a shot.
