honda b16 with nos help

Default honda b16 with nos help

hi to all i m gonna build my first ever honda and my client wants to go to nos,i wanted to go for a turbo but he insists that he wants nos.
he s got these parts

cp pistons
carillo rods
arp bolds everywhere
1mm oversize valves
titanium retainers
and uprated valve springs
cometic head gasket.
standard cams
nos proggressor kit

the mechanic he had told he to put a b18 crank in the b16? is it possibble?
another thing,will we need to fit a block guard so we reinforce the sleeves or we need an uprated block?
what ecu or piggyback do we need
as it my first honda to tune i appreciate you guys helping me

You can run the larger stroke in that block, but if he already has the rods then just stick with what he has. I personally love nitrous motors. It is the road less traveled and its fun to tune the cars on big hits.

Just get a Hondata S300 to tune with. Take out about 6 deg of timing for every 100hp of spray...that is a generalization but it will be safe and make power.

i think the other mechanic told him to get a b18 crank and b18 carillo rods,is it possibble mate?its a street car we are going to get a lttle higher comp ratio and about a 100 bhp shot mate what you guys think do we need ablock or only a block guard

B16 deck height is 7.9 and B18 is 8.3...just keep all that in mind. That stuff isn't all that easily accessible. If he is going to be buying a new crank, new pistons and rods...just have him get a B18 block and make things easy. Just use standard off the shelf stuff that is easy to get your hands on for a motor like this.

do i need an uprated block mate or a block guard cause i m afraid of the sleeves mate

you could have the block sleeved, most don't use block guards.
