Fuel pump question
I just finished building my new engine and im planning on boosting it (16 PSI .50ar). I'm gonna run 450cc injectors, do I need to upgrade from the stock fuel pump because people are telling me different things.

Well your "goals" if i can call them that are rather vague. PSI is not a determining factor when deciding on which parts you'll need. This isn't Gran Tourismo.
What are your power goals? You will more than likely need to upgrade to a Walbro 255 and possibly get a larger set of injectors. The stock fuel pump shouldn't really ever be used on a turbo setup unless you're shooting for something ~200whp or less. For the $100 it costs to buy a Walbro, its best not to chance it...

yes 450cc should be enough for your setup and get the walboro 255 pump its 100% needed for any extra power. For the 100 bucks its well worth it. Fuel is the last thing you wanna run out of.

If you're looking to make 300whp, you may as well upgrade to a larger set of injectors now and save yourself the money and hassle in the future. If you were to nearly max the injectors at say, 300whp and later decide that you want more (since the block can handle it), you would have to change injectors and completely retune the entire thing; whereas, if you had large enough injectors the first time, you'd only have to up the boost and change a small portion of the tune. The same holds true for your MAP sensor. Get a 3bar the first time...those are the two things i did wrong on my first setup that cost me more in the long run.

yea but 450CC will be fine for that. I dont have any plans on running more PSI. Its a vitara/scat/acl build. The pistons are only supposed to handle up to 20PSI. ALthough people do more than that I will be fine @ 16 PSI. its my DD, ill build another engine for a real race car in a couple of years lol.
