Can i drink alcohol while on Cefprozil (Medication) Cefzil

alright, so i have the flu, and has some tonsilitis or some ****, and i got medicin last wednesday....i took medicated around 4 hours ago, and dont have to take it again untill the morning....

I have 4 ice cold shiny beers in the fridge....and I havent touched alcohol since wednesday.... God id love a damn beer....seriously...

Im on Cefprozil or Cefzil or some **** like that..... thats my medication...
Ive googled for like half an hour now, with no answer...

someone tell me i could have a damn beer.

When it comes to beer and meds, my general rule of thumb is beer goes good with meds
but dont listen to me i'm drunk

Oh, you CAN drink it....

the effects just may be enhanced a little bit

"Alcohol or alcohol-containing medicine (cefamandole, cefoperazone, and cefotetan only)—Using alcohol and these cephalosporins together may cause abdominal or stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness or light-headedness, shortness of breath, sweating, or facial flushing; this reaction usually begins within 15 to 30 minutes after alcohol is consumed and usually goes away over several hours"

so basically drinking alcohol while on the medication leads to drunkeness

well its been over 20 minutes after my first beer and i feel fine
so....i think meds + alcohol = bad is just a myth...pfft
