Piston/Rod mix up
Hey guys, lets say a set of pistons/rods got mixed up in translation.
I already searched and the only post I found was someone saying the numbers on the side of the rod cap were the key, but those are the bearing codes.
Is there anyway to figure out what cylinder they go in? Is it a big problem? This is my first motor rebuild. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Piston/Rod mix up (5gcivicsleeper)
It's not as important that they go in the same holes (used oem that is) as it is the original cap goes on the original rod.If you think you have mixed up the caps and rods you can match up the chamfers. They also stamp the number across the parting line. You can use that to figure out which cap goes with which rod. Also plasticgauge each one when you assemble it.
