Default Three possible setups for my Integra which one do you like?

Well i am about to start buying parts and neeed to decide what i am going to do Has to be Smog legal.

Setup One

LS Regular
Upgraded Pistions Stage 2 camshafts, camgears, New Intake Manafold, I/H/E (Cheapest about 1,000 dollars)Done I/H/E so far about 180HP?

Setup Two

LS/Vtec or GSR Engine Swap Vtec, New intake manafold, Upgraded pistions, camshafts, I/H/E

3,000-3,500 dollars about 200-210HP?

Last Setup

LS Turbo

Turbo, New intake manafold, (Pistions) about 220HP?

I really like the last 2 but my worst nightmare is that i do all this work and my car gets jacked. I have lowjack on it and a good secuirty system both insured for 4,000+4,000=8,000 plus another 3-4 from insurance..

What is also a good turbo setup? Pistions etc? know jack **** about Turbos.

price about the same as GSR Swap..

What are you planning to suit it up for...? DD, track, auto-x, etc? I personally would go with the turbo set up. B18C swap is just not worth it for me although you can get more HP from that platform.

Boost it. If you have a healthy engine boost it to 7-10psi. It should be fine on a good tune. It'll give you the most noticeable and feel-able power gain. Plus the never ending noises are a joy to listen to as well.

My choice would be to turbo it. For the cost per horsepower. Turbo is your cheapest avenue.

Do you plan on passing california state smog?

You forgot to add Ecu to your list of parts and dyno tuning.

If your going to try and get into the 200hp range+ your going to want to add an LSD for the tranny onto that list. The traction and cornering ability will increase.

Smog legal turbo kit:
Greddy kit, and intercooler. $2389 for kit, + whatever you choose for intercooler.
Full-race intercooler 699.00
Then you need piping and couplers to connect the piping together, or have it welded.

Not Smog legal turbo kit:
There are cheaper kits but this will tell you the parts needed and is decent quality parts $4200

Hope this helps.

Nice price plus add another 1,000-1,500 dollars because my car is a Auto damit i would have to switch it to a manual. And Auto Turbo LMAO

My worst nightmare is just spending over 4K on this car then having it jacked. i would really hunt that person down..

I have a car alarm (Kaar Factory) then Lowjack..

Other then that this is my product car. Only thing that would be a pain in the *** about a manual is hitting traffic everyday (Dead stop) near my work both ways. *Sigh*

I say n/a ls. Mostly because i'm partial because hardly no one does one and as soon as some waste of life thief sees a fmic or anything else that catches their eye it might be gone.

Ya thats the only thing, but i mean how could they tell if i have done work under the hood if outside looks stock?

Only thing i would do outside are 98 taillights swap, some decent rims, and tires, and thats it. But you are totally right..

So possible left are probaly

LS Just with visual apperance above and Camshafts, gears, pistions and probaly new intake manafold. already have the I/H/E Cheapest..

Or LS-Vtec or GSR Swap with top mods.

need to decide..

stock cars get stolen too easier and quicker to re-sell. if ur worried than why mod your car at all..they're going to see an exhaust so that'll attract attention too. oh my gsr swap was too slow for me so i went turbo

JR supercharger is less then 2k now, it should be fine with an auto, that's what I plan on doing once I hit 150k this summer.
