Default Hondaboy4lifes build - rhd/tuck/respray

Welcome to my build. I'm sure there will be some hate, and some positive feedback, but i guess thats expected because this is honda-tech.

The story - In the beginning of this winter i spun my car in the first snow storm and put the car away for the winter. Over the winter i redid my garage and preparred it to do a serious rebuild. For my senior project i have decided to convert my car to right hand drive. I know some people like it and some people hate it, but i wanted to do something that would be a challenge for me, and that would grab peoples attention at my school so i dont present my project to like 2 janitors who have to attend the presentation. I also decided that i would do some wire tucking and clean up the body and give it a respray at the same time. My senior project officially starts in May, but i figured i could use a headstart.

I will try to keep the thread as up to date as i can, and post as many pictures as i can. Well, here it goes...

EDIT: theres pretty much pictures on every page.

pictures from after the accident -

It's for myself and a presentation. I was planning on painting my car anyways, and always had the thought of converting my car in the back of head, then once the senior project came closer and i was thinking of things to do i thought this was perfect. My school has an option. You can either take the month of May off and work on a senior project then present it at the end of the month, or you can stay and attend classes

I've been working on it the past few days a little at a time, so here's what i've done so far...

removed back and passenger seat

removed rear 1/4 trim pieces

pile of parts

hehe, yup. I'm looking into how im going to fix it right now. Its just surface so i think im just going to sand it down. The other side has a little more, so i may just replace the whole rear 1/4. I am having a friend come over that works in a body shop, and he is going to tell me what i should do/take a look at it.
