the dezod kit is superior. especialy when it comes to engine management.

imo piecing a kit together on your own is the best as long as you know what your doing

did you just not say you didnt want to go boost because of reliability issues? in all seriousness, you could put together a random kit and spend thousands on the best of the best but still have it blow if you have a shitty tune. and even if you do, there has not been ONE person who has had a turbod d17 WITHOUT something blowing.

I agree...I should have never bought the cheap bov from ebay...but i knew that this might happen...im just going to get the ssqv the same that he has and hopefully it will be just as loud as his is...I did some more reading up on it and the type rs bov has a lot differnt spring and does not go off well with low boost..and im only running 6psi right now...but the ssqv is dual stage and works better under lower boost applications..so thanks for the feedback!!!!

turbo is too small get a gt28 or gt30
air intake? u cant run an intake with turbo, thats y u got an intercooler. and u need a good EMS the aem ems or kpro those r the only standalone's we have, or u can run piggyback and have headaches

well ur listing just general stuff, u shoulda listed specific brands that u wanna run on. go to http://www.dezod.com and check out the turbo kit theres a complete turbo kit, with everything ull need and an AEM EMS which alone is around $2000. the kit sells for $6500 i think. they have 2 kits one is just the basic kit and the more expensive 1 has everything http://www.dezod.com/cat_turbo_kits.cfm

theres only 2 kits for our cars, dezod kit or tsi kit which is total crap. and u can always custom make everything all u need thats specific for our cars is a manifold and everything is universal. dezod has the race manifold for around $900. http://www.dezod.com/pd_d17_racemanifold.cfm

gt28 not more than a gran if not just a lil over. if u get the dezod alpha series kit ($6500) on the site, u can easily push over 200whp, depending on ur boost and tune is crucial.

the dezod kit is a great great buy, comes with everything even pistons and rods to build ur engine a lil bit, buy some crower cams and ur set. save up a lil more and get this kit

yep! best kit and pretty much the only kit. it will give u decent power and when u crave for more, upgrade to a bigger turbo, bigger injectors, stage 2 or 3 cam, turn up ur boost, get a better tune

yea $6400 for the kit but u get everything u need. install depending on how much ur local shop charges it can range from $500-$900, if u go to a good shop that specializes on this shit, tuning should be included. i dunno how it is where u live but where im from the shop i go to for everything does tuning as well but u can always get better tuning somewhere else. but they should tune it so u can at least drive it properly, but if u want the best tune look up tuning specialist around ur area
