Screeching noise when starting engine

When I start my Pathfinder, particulary when the engine is cold, there is a loud screeching noise. But when the engine is still warm, there is no noise.

Any ideas what could it be? thanks

Serpentine belt slipping.

Im not sure what year ur pathfinder is, but the older like 92ish body style doesn't have a surpintene belt, it has a v-belt. But ya that what it is im sure, it either needs a new belt or needs to be adjusted.

hhaa isnt this honda tech not nissan tech! haha j/k.. yea i would replace and adjust all the belts that it uses...
