hey fellas. i havent updated this in forever. for that i apologize. i did some altercation to these bad boys this past spring, and never posted progress.
on me.one night sitting in my crappy college house, while staring at those ITB's, i decided to take them apart and try and do it right. (sorry, pics are scarce, on the other computer, but i'll see what i can scrounge up) i ripped apart the old setup. milled down the manifold just above the injector bungs. ![]() turned down 4 runners on the lathe in a couple hours. broke apart the throttles, so they can each have a direct path of airflow to each cylinder in opposed to how i had them before(stuck together, conected to runners w/ hoseclamps etc.) then i machined a simple centering gage for the welder to center each runner onto the manifold. ![]() tried "port-matching" the runners to the manifold. it doesn't look so hot in the picture, but they turned out pretty decent IMO. ![]() now. i am happy with the direction this is going, but in doing this, i've opened up a whole new can of worms ... figuring out how to fab up a new throttle linkage system. oh well, my fabrication skills need to step up to the plate. again, for the lack of progress. i apologize. i've been building my DA9 for the past 6 months and been real caught up in that. we'll see how this school year goes, see if i can finally get this done and tuned. here's a peace-offering, picture of my recently finished, all-motor integra which put this project on the pack burner. ![]() questions, comments, and even criticizms are welcome. -Chris Modified by AccordSleeperZzZ at 8:11 PM 7/30/2008 Modified by TouringAccord at 1:13 PM 7/31/2008 Modified by AccordSleeperZzZ at 10:54 PM 7/31/2008

that is a dream of mine. to build the extra f22a i have sitting down at the garage. all motor, ~12.0:1 compression, big honkin' set of ITB's, bisimoto cam and header, etc, etc. and throw it in an ef. but i'll save that for my midlife crisis.

If anyone is still interested in the Vigor 5 cylinder idea, the problem with that is gonna be the linkage. You can machine an intake adapter plate to fit anything, but you need all 5 throttles to open at the same time. I am curious as to why no one has mentioned using the ITB's from a 20V 4AGE (JDM Trueno/Levin engine). They are cheap on eBay and flow quite a lot of air.
BTW- The Bisimoto long block (H/K series) should be right around 10K shipped, I would assume that the ITBs and sequential injection setup costs a little extra.
