Oh you know slowly but surely
Just finishing up a few wiring conversion jobs. 1 more week until vacation = engine tear out re-build, that's when the real action starts.

Where are you at with yours right now, did you get your TPS adapter plate finished and mounted?

Mid may is probably around the same time I'll be hit'n the road as well.....I hope
I've got 2 more sets of 42mm GSXR 750 TB's in my basement sitting right next to my 75' 500cid WB that might give a Chev guy an erection but I'm not sure if I'm going to use them on that or make a few sets to sell???? Have to make sure mine work first...lol

Cheers

may. i'm done with school may the 11th. then i'm gonna be in paris for a week. hopefully right after that. reason i have to wait is cause i don't have the tools to remove everything up here at school so my dad and me should be able to put it on once we get home.

oh, you know how i roll - so fresh, so clean.

Gotta love polishing aluminum eh...... If your that bored you'll probably end up polishing them to an absolute mirror finish, trust me I've polished for boredom before

haha! you gentlemen are the reason i got caught on honda-tech in class. not expecting such unpredictable responses - i was caught off guard and let out one prolonged "HA!" which of course immediately caught the attention of my professor.

anyhow. yea i can definately see those things getting unbelievably shiny due to my boredom.

also, if anyone's interested.i drew up my plans for my "good set" of ITB's. these are basically a prototype to see if i can work the bugs out. anyways - for the runners i'm going to bore out 4 lengths of 2" aluminum to about 43mm(about the surface area of the intake ports). and i'm actually going to turn down and face my own butterfly valves out of brass stock. i think its next year i get to do carbon-fiber injection molding too. so if i make my own carbon fiber velocity stacks... *drool* the plans aren't 100% done and the intake manifold flange is only partially dimentioned, but it has the ones i needed.

plans.

cheers.

is mechanically possible to maybe take an extra TB so that you would be able to have 5 as opposed to 4? some of use weren't lucky enough to have our honda come w/ only 4 cyl...

haha. lucky enough to only have 4 cylinders. do you mean, like, the individual throttles, then make a plenum from those up to a main one? or what? i've considered that idea and i'd like to toy with it. or, if thats not what you meant please explain. i'm always interested in alternate intake ideas.

he has a vigor (according to his sig) which IIRC are 5 cylinders. so i think hes asking if you can do ITBs for his 5 cylinder, just like how you did for your 4 cyl.

so to answer his question. yes you can, you can do it for as many cylinders as your car has, hence the name "Individual Throttle Bodies" your not limited by #s of cylinders.

ahh. i didn't even pick up on his sig(obviously). yea. I've seen itb's on striahgt 6's (which looked and sounded awesome) so, yes, you could do it. it would be more challenging to find 5 throttles tho. since most of them(not all) come in sets of 2 or 4.

i have to make sure mine work, but if they do and if you're still interested i could fab. you a set next fall(when i get tons of machining time)
