You won't be using the same kind of parts as you would for an all motor build.
You really need to fully plan your build before you order one thing, it'll save you time, money and headaches.
Do some thinking what you want and be honest to yourself then plan acordingly and search a ton, in the F/I forum if you are planning to boost.

Re: what rebuild kit will give me the most gain for my LS?
yeah i was hopeing someone made a kit for such a build. i have about 3g's to spend on motor alone. i will buy everything at ounce before i rip the motor out. is there an internet site that offers everything i need. is it a good idea to make that motor an LS/VTEC. i have alot of ideas but i really just need some direction before i go out and buy everything.....

There arent any re-build kits for these engines. What you need are....
Top-end gasket kit
Bottom-end gasket kit.
Ls-vtec oil line kit.
Pistons with rings custom sized to your cylinders for ring end-gap
Main and rod bearings custom fitted to your crank rods.
When I say custom, I mean there isnt a one-size fits all "shade-tree mechanic" type of parts for any engine if you want it to last.
look for Bambam's lsvtec guide. It will give you a good start.
