Re: **VOLK MAGNESIUM BLUE WHEELS** post up
I've been trying to come up with a fairly close color match to mag blue. I eyeballed a color chip that I thought looked like it down at the paint supply store we use, then got a half pint, brought it back to our shop and sprayed a couple spokes of a scrap wheel. I felt it looked too dark so I cut it with a little bit of coarse silver metallic. That got it a lot closer to what I thought it should look like. Below are a few pics of the result. I think, based on all of the pics I've seen online that it could pass, but I'm not sure if it looks like it has too much metal flake. Having never seen a mag blue wheel in person its tough to judge. So I'm reaching out to get a few opinions. Does it look close to the real deal mag blue? To dark? To light? Too much metal flake? I could swap the coarse silver for a fine flake silver which would tone down the amount of flake that pops when the sun hits the wheel if the consensus is that the wheel looks too metallic. Let me know what you all think. I tried my best to get some decent pictures, but it is a really difficult color to photograph.

not bad. You won't really tell from the sparkle unless your up on it and sun comes out and you like at it from an angle
