Need to replace struts--any suggestions
I searched the forum but didnt find info that I wished for --for my 01 Accord Ex
My struts make a "klunk..klunk" sound when I go through little bumps and un-evenetties on the road. Also I start to see threading, or whatever its called-- where tires start to wear unevenly, not right to left but the tire thread is becoming wavevy. Anyway i believe its time for new struts.
I am running stock struts and I want to keep them as stock as I can. I am wondering what are some good strut manufacturers, what models to get, and what to watch out for?
Is there also a strut tutorial somewhere?
Hit me up guys

Not knowing what year your car is doesn't help. But I literally just did my Accord's suspension this past weekend, would've only taken 2 days but ran into some pesky bolts that delayed it into 4 days. First time ever doing it and didn't have too much trouble.
I strongly suggest buying some PB Blaster to take the suckers (bolts) out

Re: (TheMuffinMan)
I actually wrote that I have a 01 Accord on the top. But whatever-
It took you two days do re-do the springs? What took the longest? I want to do it all in 1 day-- i need my car drivable I believe i got a spring squisher in the garage, or whatever that thing is called that squeezes the spring together... anyway.
I only need the front shocks- I can also deviate from OEM if the aftermarket are cheaper and hold a good quality, but i'm not looking for some racing shocks or anything.
What is a good price that they should cost?
