'99 Accord Coupe V-TEC Malfunction
My car has the check engine light on,
I checked here and the code that it gave me was the V-TEC malfunction.
Any ideas on what I should check first.
A little background on the car...
I got the car with a busted engine, changed the engine.
Changed the main relay, and the fuel pump.
The ABS, Check Engine, and Maintenance required lights were on.
I fixed all the other problems except the Check engine light.
The code it gave me was P1259 which is a V-TEC engine malfunction.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank in advance.

4cyl?
P1259 points to the pressure switch on the V-tec unit.
Got oil in the engine?
the switch should have continuity with the engine off; the harness side of the plug should have 12 volts across the terminals with the key on
I've seen a bunch of them bad.
if this doesn't help you, repost and I'll get ya some more info
