Strange noise around dash!
Hi all:
I have got a Honda civic 2001 coupe. Generally, when I switch the engine on the DRL light doesn't turn on. It used to be ok for a few months but recently when I switch the engine on the DRL light turns on and a strange noise comes out from somewhere around the front dash. It goes off after a while or when I turn on the head lights. Any ideas???

it's the DRL relay. it's under your driver side dash. behind mirror controller. open the relay box. resolderthe joints. you are set.
I had exactly the same problem. now it's gone.

I have an 01 U.S. Civic lx with DRL I am trying to trun them off but can't! I pulled the fuse, nothing
. Ive seen pics of a Canadian civic DRL relay behind the mirror switch but its not there on mine. Ive also read that on U.S. civic's its behind the glove box. Ive look but cant find it! Dose anyone have a pic of it?
