building a poor man type r anyone have any pic or idea's
i have a 2000 b16 head and a 2001 gsr block want to put ctr pistions and ctr cam with crowler valve springs and retainer are these good combo's any idea's.

Since you're going all motor, which I personally think is a great way to go on that type of motor as far as reliability goes. In my opinion, thats what those type of motors are meant for. If you wanna turbo something...get a non vtec dime a dozen one...but people have MANY opinions on that, so thats another day
What I meant by that question, is what are your power goals and/or compression ratio? Depending on pistons and head gasket used, your compression may not be at an ideal ratio for your power goals. Are you shooting for under 200whp or over?
Read as much as you possibly can, understand all there is to be learned and you'll be able to make the correct decisions for the future of your car. It seems like you're on the right track so far though. After you let us know your power goals, there are MANY people on here with more knowledge that can reccomend the parts that you will need to accomplish your goal.
