Nitto NT01 225/45/r15?
Im posting this here cause no one will respond to me in wheels&tires and i know more ppl read this anyway.
On a nitto add in a magazine it said that they are coming out with a 225/45/r15, I know of only a couple other tires in this size and from what i have read these are pretty good tires...im wondering if anyone knows anything about these tires. Im trying to figure out if I could/should get these for my integra for spring track events...i know that 225/50/r15's have some issues with rubbing but curious if these 45's would fit...thanx

Re: Nitto NT01 225/45/r15? (kshgl87)
I would definetly suggest going with a 225/45 versus the 225/50. The tire is shorter and won't rub as much. I have a 225/50/15 tire on, and it just useless. maybe its the offset (+35) i'm running, but any hard turns will rub on the ouside. Tires are seeing commuting duties so i can wear them out.
Since your looking at an R-compound tire for track use, I would suggest asking in the RR/AutoX forum. Lets face it, most the people in here are more interesed in looks and hp numbers then actually going to a road race or autocross.
hankook r-s2 z212 is in that size, if you don't already know and are fairly cheap. Non r-compound, but comparable to the azenis and mx's which are popular for autoxers shaved.
