This "Trial" thing is disappointing. I need to PM a dealer in the marketplace!

It's better than having a butt load of spam accounts.

Yes. This was answered before.
Once you become regular member, how would you PM? Will there be a new icon for PM'ing someone?

My account says that I'm a "Normal User" and "Unrestricted User" but I still can't PM. Do you know why?

Thanks in advance for your help.

On the top right of each page, there's a link to your profile, it looks like this:

My Profile

It has the "Instant Messenger" in it to track your current Instant Messages.

But, to PM a person directly, you click their username next to their post (or find it in the Member List), and send them an Instant Message.

This is an annoying feature but understandable. I don't even have a honda but I'm hoping to find some 4x100 rims so access to the marketplace would be cool. oh well

Ahh....so this is what a Trial user is. At first I was like wtf, do i have to pay for this shit? I agree this a pretty f'd up feature especially your looking to buy a car or parts and can't contact the seller what so ever! But, I can also see why they implemented this feature as well! Damn, I guess I gotta wait then....

The registration page hasn't been updated in a very long time. I don't believe George is the one who wrote it initially, so therefore he hasn't changed it.

It's all there in black and white. Yes, you do have to post 20 times. I've seen accounts fully activated quicker, but the safe number is 20.

Well, that kind of sucks because I want to buy a car from the forum but can't. I've been a member for nearly 3 years but have never posted because I only use this site for research and what not, I post on ************.com instead. I'm hoping this post will give me my status to PM...

An admin/moderator gave him/her that, due to a kind act they did, or being rather helpful.

Percentages don't mean jack until they drop below a certain number, then it affects avatars, post counts, PM's etc. More than 100% is just window dressing.

Percentages get docked by mods for people violating TOS, posting stupid topics/replys, etc.

I am a new member in my trial period and am interesting in buying an exhaust I saw posted in the Socal marketplace by Bluewind. How can I get in contact with him to purchase?

You're going to have to wait it out, like the rest of us.
