I guess you didn't read the reply that I posted...During shipping you can't have anything in the car. Everything in the car has to be permently mounted. Bumper in the car while being shipped is not permently mounted...

im pretty sure if you tell them you are going to place the bumper inside because you dont want it damaged during loading, bumper wrapped in bubble wrap and ziptied securley they would be fine with it.

I know they are because they're really strict on what you can and what you can't do. My wife shipped her car up to Cali. Her mom said it was a bitch. I have the rear Tow Hook too so they can pull it from the rear.

Ok not to be an ass, but how did this happen. I know of bumpers being ripped off when cars were being loaded on a flatbed of some sort being that the angle of the strap/chain was too steep. Basically the angle of what was attached to the stock tow hooks was higher than parallel to the floor.

If you use the tow hooks to tie the car down during shipping you will not have your bumper ripped off unless your car falls off the truck.

Honestly I can't think of anyway that your bumper can be ripped off if it's being towed properly. If it's not then you have more to worry about than just your bumper.

I aint scared of it traveling...I know it's going to be tied down to the truck. I am scared of the trunk pulling my car on the trailer.

Why'd you cut a square hole for a round bolt? One word: Drill.

good luck in hawaii. i am originally from there so i know how it goes. not to scare you but thiefs will take your car from anywhere, especially at the mall. once a car is recovered it would be totalled because stolen cars there are usually found burnt. just be cool to the locals and don't try to be hot shit out there or you'll be marked. if not you might see key marks on your car or something. just some words of advice from a local. i know some people that do this or had this happen to them.
