From the 90's? Most of these games you guys are talking about are from the 60's and 70's. Monopoly is even older.

Anyone remember Kerplunk? Not really a "boardgame", but still fun. Had marbles ontop of rods, and each player would remove a rod, hoping the marbles wouldn't come crashing down? Good times.

I still play Risk with my buddies every once in awhile. In fact, I just decided we're gonna play a game of Drunken Risk tonight Click the image to open in full size.

Monopoly is a family past time. When I was growing up we used to have our entire neighborhood playing monopoly in the top apartment when it wasn't rented (we owned a two-flat). These games would last days, and even weeks. Plus, every time we have a family get-together (christmas, mostly) my cousins and I always have a huge game of Monopoly. We're so competitive it's sad. Like, making your little cousin cry type of competitive. Good times Click the image to open in full size.

Life, Stratego, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Trivial Pursuit (the real one, not the dumbass edition they have out now), Monopoly (gets way boring after a while), etc.

Toys R' Us used to have a whole wall of board games.
