Still trying to figure out if i want to repaint these white as opposed to the current Metallic Grey.

still need to stance the car and paint the trim.

My concern is that I'm seeing a lot of people using the factory OEM lug nuts.

Honda's use an Acorn style lug NUT (RIGHT IMAGE)

BMW's use a Tapered style lug BOLT (CENTER IMAGE)

Would not then a Tapered Lug nut be the optimal solution? (LEFT IMAGE)

Anyone got an answer to this?

I drive the car hard for 10-20 minute almost every day and I don't want them to fly off. By hard driving I mean the side walls want to roll under the contact patch during heavy cornering and always squealing @ tires limits upon corners entry, during, and exit.

thanks

You should never use an acorn-style lug nut on a conical tapered wheel. The contact surface between the two is absolutely miniscule, and incredibly dangerous.

Correct. They're conical taper lug seated wheels.

Sandblasted & powder coated (unfortunately I don't know the RAL code).
