What little black plug? I cracked my center tail light on the trunk and the warning lamp came on. Went ahead and replaced the assembly and the lamp is still on. The light works fine it's just the warning light won't go off it seems.

My brake lamp light is on also....brake lights all work properly...brake switch under the brake pedal has been replaced. I'm also having problems taking the car out of park. Any suggestions? This car is driving me crazy!

It doesn't have anything to do with the tail lights or the emergency brake, boys. It has to do with either:
A. The master brake cylinder--which may need to be replaced if the brakes sink when you depress the pedal to stop
B. There may be debris or pockets of air bubbles that can develope when you twist the brake fluid cap off--you may need to flush the fluid and refill it.

Always remember to wipe the brake fluid resevoir before opening it because the hose is prone to being clogged by contaminates/particulates and never shake the brake fluid.

Wrong^^^ the brake warning light comes on when E brake is applied or you are low on brake fluid or brake fluid level switch is defective/stuck. 94

Actually it's not the e-brake. The e-brake is a different light.

Can you send a picture of the brake lamp under the steering column plz
