Default OBX Manfiolds...Reviews VERY WELCOME

Need your reviews on their products......wanting to know I've heard a couple bad things about their products...mainly just curious if it will match up not worried about the performance issues but anything is welcome.

Problems: Cracking of every weld and seam. Self destruction to a point of uselessness.

Benefits: Look decent for a few hours and cant beat the price upfront.

I really wouldn't bother with one, It'd take about $100 to fix one up to get it not to crack right away but eventually it'll fall apart.

OBX is the best manifold on the market, all the top races teams use them for their 800+ whp cars.

they are the biggest piece of **** you'll ever see/use. They should come with a warning label on them "Warning: You're Dumb b/c you bought this manifold" etc...

Doesn't Spark Racing make the obx manifolds?

I've seen some of the pics of the damaged units, and DAMN they aren't pretty. Pretty damn messed up when the wastegate pipe cracks and falls off!

well I bought a one fab and my buddy bought a OBX

My boddy is on 8 months with no problems

I had the wastegate tube welded after it fell off
I had the runners welded another time when they cracked
I had to wait a damn year for it and he waited a week

going on 2 months so far and no problems, i figured ****, cant go wrong with the price till i can afford something better, but there are ppl making over 400-500 no problems, especially jerry built cars i havent had any complaints yet, and even if it did give me problems, still cant go wrong for the price, LOL and those pics, those i believe there OLD manifold, made with thinner material, plus there obx plaque is in a differnet spot than now, but over all, i guess its a ok manifold, but thats me, and like i said until i can afford something better, like a neukin or spoolin or something, just so i know its a bit stronger and safer, i guess i will just have to wait and see how long this one last me

Default Re:

Which manifold is that in Project Dc2's pics?

I've seen the current OBX ramhorn, and it doesn't look too bad, but it IS thinner than all the other ramhorns. Still - it was working fine...

I'm wondering if that's an older OBX manifold pictured. Even the owner of the OBX manifold I saw admitted that his newer Ramhorn style of manifold is the ONLY OBX manifold he has ever had luck with

Any comments? (I don't use OBX, just telling what I've seen)
