The TODA C2 has a 55 ABDC! Pretty radical if you ask me!! I saw it in the pamphlet that came with the cam.

Is the duration of the pro1s 264deg? I was thinking of changing my Toda C's to Pro3s, but my dealer didn't provide the spec card and when I viewed the pro3 lobes, they didn't look lumpy considering the fact that they should be 277in & 284ex.I re-checked the part number (305-05-5150) to make sure but I still didn't feel comfortable. So I didn't get them in the end.Well I'm now thinking of trying the Toda C2 although I don't expect much difference with 5deg more duration.

May I ask what is the exhaust spec? I hear that the only improvement from the C is 5 deg more intake duration on the vtec lobe. Is the LCA still 105?

good test, todd

even though i've always been
fond of the toda cams, tuning both would be close, meaning the ign timing map is very different for the toda lineup than the skunk pro lineup ... just an observation from tuning over the yars.

A little, perhaps. Different days.

Really eh, which cam has the more agressive ignition map?

Also whats the total timing for each cam?

Did some more testing today. Taking the cams to +5.5,+5 the motor picked up quite a bit down low and in the mid range, with only a slight loss up top.

The Pro1's are definitely better than the Toda C's down low, but above 5,800, the Toda cams are quite a bit better.

Here is a chart that shows the difference the cam timing changes made with the same intake (same cams-Pro1's):

Pro1's liked 30 degrees at 7,600 dropping to 26 degrees by 9,000.
Toda's liked 29 degrees at 7,600 dropping to 27 degrees by 9,000.

Hello please let me know what you mean when you say that the timming is +5+4 for toda.
Is it +5 on the cam gears or +2.5 on the cam and 5 at the crank?
Also what deg is the zero? this 0 possition depending on the head gasket/miled head cam gear costruction.
A better information is the degres of max lift

The head/block are milled. I am too lazy to degree cams-I clay the motor and find out my max safe adjustments. Then I find the sweet spot for cam timing by trial and error on the dyno. When I say +5 it's +5 indicated on the cam gear.
