Edj00macate me on D series
Ok here is the situation. I want to do a small D series turbo setup for a daily driver. and by that I mean somewhere between 185-230hp. most important thing is to have as much throttle response and low end tq as possible. and whichever motr I go with I plan on upgrading the pistons. Now I was pretty set on D16z6 because they actually make tq almost as easy as a b18a, but a friend mentioned the ZC motor.
I dont know much about ZC other than its a dohc non vtec motor, but how well do they respond to mods and are they like a b16 where it makes no tq but all top end? or do they provide just as much tq as a d16z6 but with more top end power? please tell me what is the better motor for my needs.

Re: Edj00macate me on D series (delsol18lsvtec)
I've read that the ZC's got some pretty damn beefy stock internals... So it'll hold its own. Most D-series will have to stop at 225, or so everyone says. If you're absolutely sure you don't want too much power but a lot of response, get a small turbo. I'm installing a T28 soon, so something like a T28, T25, or a small T3. That should get you what you're looking for.
