D16a all motor build up
d16a block standard size
standard size PM7 pistons
stock rods with Arp rod bolts
Inline Racing p&p cyl head
supertech valve spring/retainer
ported Skunk2 intake manifold
Aem cam gear
Comp cam stgIII camshaft
65mm holley throttle body
stock gsr injectors
no-name 4-2-1 header
custom 10lbs flywheel
tuned on Crome-pro
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
the stock crx-dx fuel pump maxed out on the dyno, didn't even have a chance to mess with the ign map at all, total timing was at 23 deg, plan to switch out the pump and hit up the dyno again

. I myself have ran 2 heads with the guides cut down for over 60,000 miles with no problems but thats only real life and we all know real life expeince means nothing on honda-tech. Oh great #'s. The crane cam grinds really seem to make good power

impressive.....money in the build?(if you don't mind telling) with it having the stock honda pistons i don't see it being *TOO* much.....

Re: (sohcfreak)
just dynoed it today, plan to switch out the pump and take it back to the dyno. I still haven't touch the ign map or the cam gear, hopefully getting close to 165whp

Re: D16a all motor build up (TrackSpeedRacing)
Any word when your gonna make it back to the dyno?I'd be curious to see how a bisi/smsp header would benefit your setup especially when joined with a length tuned short ram with a nice velocity stack. BTW have you noticed your numbers are almost identical to builthatches? its kinda scary.

just switched out to an Evo8 fuel pump, probably retune tomorrow morning, I'll post up the dyno sheet asap after tuned, compression check hits 300 psi each cyl.

thats a damn nice build. Wonder what kinda numbers you'll get with a better header. Was the intake mani cut opened and ported or just port matched to the head?

Re: (drchulo)
the mani was just port match, I was thinking building a set of ITB or custom intake mani with stacks. It'd be real nice to hit close to 180whp with ITB and better header
