For those who have their fully built ls/v motors did u guys balance the pistons,rod and crank or just the crank itself? Another question my motor is almost built all i need is lsd other then i have everything for my motor anyways back to the question what am i going to expect when i first step on it? i have a 13 sec right now and i know this motor is going to be way different considering it my first b series motor being done.

This is everything i can think of right now of the top of my head. Let me know what u guys think about this setup thanks. My horsepower goal is going to be from 600-650 for now....

I have a ls-v plan to do this setup what kind of power ya think ill probably be making build head and stock block just a block guard with south florida turbo manifold with a gt35r t3 1000 injector,victor x manifold....

No need for a block guard. And when you say stock block, do you mean stock sleeves with forged internals, or completely STOCK block? If it's the latter, i'd suggest you do forged pistons and rods to take advantage of the high revs your built head will give you.

And the only way to determine what power a motor will make is to take it to the dyno and see. Everybody is gonna have a different opinion on what power a certain engine will make, which is useless. Set a power goal yourself, based on what kinda driving you're gonna be doing, and make sure your tune is spot-on.

theres guys on here putting more boost than that to a stock set up, but im sure it would be fine with a good tune.
