GM IAT is compatible with Hondata S300 now?
Almost every post I've read on here says a GM IAT can't be used with Hondata, but I just got off the phone with them and he showed me a list of compatible analog sensors in the help file. Here is what it says:
"Analog Temperature
Certain temperature sensors may be connected directly to the s300 analog inputs. Temperature sensors contain a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) resistor, and decrease in resistance with increasing temperature. Because the NTC resistor does not provide a voltage output, a pull up resistor must be used so the s300 can measure the sensor resistance.
Temperature sensors have non linear resistance to temperature and cannot use a straight voltage to temperature conversion table. Conversions for common sensors are built into KManager using Steinhart-Hart co-efficients.
Supported Sensors
• Delphi 25036751 (air temperature)
• Delphi TS10075 (coolant temperature)
• Bosch 0280130039 (air temperature)
• Bosch 0280130026 (coolant temperature)
• Delphi 12160855 / AEM 30-2012 (fluid temperature)
Other Delphi and Bosch part numbers may have the same output characteristics are the above sensors.
Wiring
A 1.5k ohm (1500 ohm) 1% resistor must be used between the analog input and 5V. The 5V source can be any of the ECU VCC outputs. The sensor can be grounded to any ECU signal ground (SG3 in the picture).
A suitable resistor is a 1% 1/8 watt metal film resistor by Vishay/Dale, part #RN55D1501FB14"

I didn't mean to get your hopes up. I was just asking a question and it looks like I was misled.
Thanks for the feedback. Hondata should have more knowledgeable people answering the phones. I don't think he misunderstood me. I was very clear.

I could be wrong but this is my understanding unless theres a sensor setting for changing the iat input source
I wouldnt worry about it too much the Honda sensor works well. I had GAW weld a bung into my charge pipe and works great like this

Cool...I dunno what I'ma go with next, but I need something, still on the archaic S200
Neptune or S300.
Every dollar I can scrounge next is to rebuild the L16 for my '73 Datsun truck, I miss it.

Ordered a set of nos OEM main bearings from Kuwait, lol.
$28 but 30 days shipping=Win.
