Default Greddy 18g TD05H Rebuild

I purchased a genuine Mitsubishi rebuild kit for my greddy turbo because it was leaking oil behind compressor wheel. I followed this link

DIY: Rebuilding a Greddy TD05SH-18G - 6th Gen Accord DIY and Performance Forums

I was careful not to deform any parts and used plenty of oil for lube. I put the turbo in my table vice clamp with the compressor side down and put oil through the drain port. Left it like that for an hour or 2. No leaks!

So i did the same thing for turbine side. But theres a leak and it drips to the heat shield down to turbine wheel. I was careful NOT to deform any parts during install, especially those ring things behind each wheel. I also noticed that there was not any real "seal" to the turbine side like there is a rubber o-ring for the compressor side. Is this normal?

I know that the turbo wont be sitting like this in the car. So when its installed, the oil should drain properly and not "fill" the turbo causing this type of leak so is my. Test even valid?

So i read this from ebay (of all places), the turbine housing leak section.

TURBOCHARGER OIL LEAKS - TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS | eBay

I guess with the type of test i did, its normal that oil would leak as the oil level in the bearing housing exceeded max limits. Under normal conditions, it shouldnt leak if oil is drained properly without oil backup caused by any obstructions.

I also understand that the seals use oil pressure to seal. Kind of like compression rings on a piston. Without oil pressure you will have leaks.
