Darn. LOL... I think I'm leaning toward actually keeping this stupid little car.
It's funny, the early ('02-'03) CTR bumpers and spoilers seem to be more popular than the USDM HFP body kits and/or spoilers.
Is anybody using the USDM HFP kit?

Dude, of course you are... this is EP ****.. lol
Funny how much better mine looks when I Photoshop the parking blemishes off of the rear bumper. Hell, if Playboy can do it, so can I.

Thanks --
The exhaust is my newest thing -- Fujitsubo RM-01A. It's the first sporty exhaust I ever got for any car of mine. I'm using a stock RSX-S header, downpipe & cat, allowing it to bolt right up and properly match the catback diameter. Wheels & tires are 16" Rota C10's (not gonna risk curb-rashing Mugen bling) with 205/50 Dunlop FM-901's. There's also Mugen SS suspension and 02-04 Type-S front & rear sway bars (23 front, 19 rear).
*edit* Oh yeah -- Type-S 5-lug hub & brake conversion with ATE blue fluid & Cobalt pads. Noisy, dusty, but I'll really have to beat the **** out of them before I can even come close to making them fade.
I'm almost done with bolt-on stuff. If I do anything more, it'll be with the motor itself (maybe a swap if I can figure out how to pass DC inspection).

Whoa.
I really just don't think anybody's car should look worse than mine.

Re: official EP3 pic thread? (in-n-outboy)
I was taking a friend of mine to the airport in Switzerland this morning and an EP3 Type R pasted me and then got in fron of me(I was driving a POS diesel). When he put on his turn siganl I noticed a yellow LED in the sideview mirror. Is that a feature that is also on the US version?

Nope, the US EP3's never got the turn signal mirrors. We also never got the power folding mirrors, and the heated mirrors were for Canada and not the US.

For whatever it's worth, the only turn signal mirrors I've seen were also heated. I think they just came that way.
I have never seen power folding mirrors on an EP3. Are you sure about that? It doesn't seem to be mentioned on the German site.
EDIT: The British site mentions that the mirrors are heated and electrically adjustable, but no mention that they are folding mirrors. No mention of this in either Specifications or Accessories as an option.

Hmmm.
Not bad, but I think I see why people seem to prefer both the old CTR and new CTR body kits to the USDM HFP kit.

Yup, I'm positive -- they must be a JDM option. The adjustment module has the four-way rocker like ours for aiming, then a narrower left-right selector slider, and right next to that is a small button that folds both mirrors.
It seems like a useless frill around here, but there have been times where I've needed to fold in my mirrors to squeeze into my driveway. I wouldn't mind having them.
