Spark Plugs: NGK vs. Denso vs. Bosch
#28
Re: Spark Plugs: NGK vs. Denso vs. Bosch (alexboy)
Bump...
I have NGKs in my LSVTEC, they seemed to have already fouled after 6k miles, I just got my car tuned and leaned slightly, Now I'm looking for spark plugs.
I have a ITR head on my LSVTEC, would Bosch platnium single tip or +2 tips be best for my application?

Re: Spark Plugs: NGK vs. Denso vs. Bosch (BSQ)
Does anyone know the difference between the PFR7G-11 (JDM/Euro ITR) and the PFR7G-11S (S2000)?
I can't find the meaning of the "S"
If the "S" version is better, I'm going to put that in my ITR.

Ah, The "S" means stainless steel washer.
"Stainless steel washer reduces plug self-backing." says NGK.com

Check this out: http://sparkplugs.com/results_...67850
The NGK IFR6E-11 iridium version has the same price. Why not just use the Iridium plug?
Too bad there is no IFR7E-11 for the Euro ITR (OEM = PFR7G-11).

Re: Spark Plugs: NGK vs. Denso vs. Bosch
NGK plugs takes less space in CC therefore more air n fuel mixture in CC
Where as Bosch +2 and +4 has 2 and 4 electrodes taking up space instead of air fuel mixture, everything counts when it comes to performance

Re: Spark Plugs: NGK vs. Denso vs. Bosch
my OEM NGK plugs went 70K miles (most of those on boost). I'm on my 2nd set now, no reason to change brands. NGK FTW
