Man, absolutely amazing write-up. I'm currently in the process of painting my wheels. Having the hardest time doing the first step, getting the paint off the wheels. I used a whole spray can of Aircraft, and I definitely need more. Thinking on getting the big canister like you did. Definitely coming back to this for more reference. Amazing work.

Remember, the stripper will NOT work under 60˚ weather (this is written on the stripper).
Unless you have access to a heated garage or warehouse I wouldn't recommend doing it under cold climate.

well here are the pics i have...

i already know my cars dirty, VERY.

starting off by liftin the car and getting the wheel off (figi blue FG2 = MugenPwrFG2)

next i tried the playing card around the wheel method (wheels were gold but looked orange in sunlight) ew

^^^ yeah those ARE power rangers cards.. i kepp it real!! lol

next i took the front bumper off cuz i was bored while paint was drying

having a little fun with my front end...

^^^ INTAURUS!!!

and while we had that off i sprayed something on the front mount to seem cool

and while the wheel was getting spray more and drying i got even more bored and decided to gut the rear...

^^^ actually took alot of weight out and now i noticed was more work ahead on scrubing this thing out and gettin it clean!!! (another day im lazy)

oh and as for the wheel... i got one on shittiest pic ever i know but here ya go i will get one tomorrow up hopefully (a good one) and also the car wasnt down all the way!!!

there ya go i like the turn out tell me what you think!!

some more tips:

if you shop at autozone, duplicolor is made by krylon and so are the cheaper cans of primer in grey ( i forget the name ).

also, the first usage of aircraft remover works the best. the spray can is the easiest to use. saturate the paint without using any other substances until you feel its reached its stripping limit.

Hahah, that would be it. I'm so clueless. I'll have to wait till it warms up again. I think I tried it when it was 45 degrees.
