Default Got my ES mounts for my 90 integra rs But I have a questions- Pics!

Hey guys whats up,

I got my ES Motor mounts because my upper left motor mount is broken

So I just have a question.

Do I hammer the old rubber mount out? and just put these in?

Cuz I thought these replace the oem rubber inserts
While it looks like the ES motor mount inserts looks likes I put them in with the oem rubber motor mount

but mine is broken, so Would it be ok to install these with the broken oem mount if that's the way it needs to be done??

Do I need the OEM Rubber mount to install these? or can I hammer it out and just put these in,

Here are some pics,

This is the one that is gone bad....

This kit also replaces this one too right...

And this rear mount behind the motor...

Thanks, Later

ES doesnt come with upper mount inserts
it tourqe mounts
aka
front tranny
and rear engine

driverside mount THERE ARE no es inserts
for that u gotta go with prothane

to install es inserts u dont hammer anything out

u wedge 2 inserts on both sides and zip tie em together

I would suggest using only the front ones. The rear mount is very difficult to get off, I gave up on it. The front two inserts are very easy to do and do make a significant difference

Ok, So this is for the front engine mount, the rear engine mount,
and the mount above the tranny?

This sucks, Where can I get the inserts for the upper mount That I have broken,
I'll get a mount from the junkyard

Ok thanks,

Also, I'l do the rear engine mount becuase,

I have to drop the tranny to install my Aasco 8lb flywheel

Might as well and tame the time to do it right

plently of people make that upper mount, but they are usually a bit of money, and might come in a kit with the other mounts. Like Hassport and all the copy designs on ebay

I believe Prothane has the 2 top mounts. I think they have to pressed out and the new ones pressed in.

the rear mount is the most important mount...most of the front/back engine twist is stressing the rear mount....
